How the hell do I do death/thrash style vocals like The Haunted, Pantera, Trivium, Suffocation, Arch Enemy and so on? Im already a decent singer so I know about warming up and breathing and vocal care and stuff but I have only sung clean up to now and I can only get the proper death/thrash sound for any amount of time when I whisper for some reason (which is useless basically) so I assume its something to do with my technique. My band is trying to revamp its sound and I think that we could do a more suitable vocal style so I really wanna learn this.

You are going to grow new plants and want to know how to get the greatest amount of growth. Which of the four experiments below would answer this question the best? Explain?

1. In the first planter use fertilizer A and composted soil. In the second planter use fertilizer B and soil found naturally in the area. Put both planters outside.
2. In first planter use fertilizer A, composted soil, and grow in the greenhouse. In the second planter put fertilizer B, soil found naturally in the area, and grow outside.
3. In the first planter use fertilizer A, composted soil, and grow in the greenhouse under a grow light. In the second planter use fertilizer B, composted soil and grow in the greenhouse under the same grow light as the first planter.
4. In the first planter use fertilizer A, grow with composted soil and add 250 mls of water daily. In the second planter use fertilizer B and add 250 mls of water every 2 weeks. Place both planters outside.

people since right after I bought it and now they have moved out. Anyway, before they moved in, I put a brand new bathtub in it. I don't think they cleaned it the entire time that they were there and I can't seem to get it clean. It is a plastic-like bath tub. It has a massive amount of soap scum, black marks, and what looks to be rust from sitting a metal can of shaving cream on the edge of the tub or something. Any ideas of anything that may get it clean? I don't want to have to buy another bath tub if I can avoid it. Help please!

I would do most of the building work myself.
And thats about the mortgage I could get with my tiny salary. My options at the moment are, living in a garage or a box of a studio flat if I get a mortgage trough a broker. Any other VALID ideas towards buying a first time property are more than welcome.

My dad wants me to only remove the water damaged portion (bottom 3 in. - 2 ft.) of a wall's studs & then replace the missing portions with longer pieces. The replacements will overlap the remaining/original studs by about a foot & then be nailed in.

The walls in question are both exterior walls which meet to form a corner of the house. We live in Sylmar California & live right on top of the famouse "Sylmar Earthquake" fault, not to mention all the other earthquake faults very nearby. I'm concerned about the structural integrity of these very important walls. Can I safely follow my dad's wishes or should I do what makes sense (to me) & replace the entire stud/s?

Rather not use solvents or spirits, don't want to spoil my kitchen sink. And how do you keep the brushes soft after cleaning?

I know lots of these paints are water solvent based paints, but would like your ideas please?

I had seen a tv 'buy now, tv offer only' commercial a while back that advertised a 'one step button repair' device. Does anyone know where I can find this?

We are thinking about resale value and wonder if we should replace the flooring on the main living area with hardwood. It now has a carpeted living room and laminate in the foyer and dining room. My husband thinks he can do the floor himself.

I live in Michigan and planted a lavender in my yard two years ago. It has grown a lot but looks a little thin I guess is the word to use. Do you know if you are supposed to trim back or prune back all of the woody stems in the fall or spring????

Is there a simple formula to figure how much time/water for automatic sprinklers? Flat area, grass only, 60' x 60'. Southern CA inland meaning it can get up to 100, often 90, currently about 82. My grass is green but my bill is way high. Has 3 stations, running 2 times for 5min each, every other day. Too much?
