I've seen internet sites that sell them. Is it wise to buy bonsai trees online? I want a small one (no more than 8" tall). I also need to know how much sunlight I'll need to plan to give it.

Internet sites are good, but please don't just refer me to a bunch of sites! I've surfed the web, and there's so much info that I get overwhelmed and can't tell what applies to me. Specific tips from your personal knowledge/experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My boyfriend is in the process of giving up smoking, until then there's no point in me trying but once he has done it (I'm sure he can), what are some good tips to get the smell of smoke out of everything? I know carpets can be shampooed but I have a 2" thick carpet that I dare not get wet! Opening the windows is ok to a certain extent but I really want a blast of freshness! Any ideas?
Thanks!

I just planted some herbs in little pots and as soon as they started to spring up I started noticing gnats. they are all around the plants. I have tried fly paper, but they keep coming. There is no standing water around and I kill them constantly. They are so annoying. Please help.

When my lateral lines were being installed, the contractor cut the electric to my barn. Approx 500 feet between the originating electrical area to the barn and it is broken in about a 20 foot section, how can I find each end in the break to repair? I have used a metal detector and can not locate either end, the contractor installed additional dirt over the land area to grade everything off.

Our new front load washer was just delivered. I seem to remember hearing that I can use regular detergent, just a much smaller amount in these machines. Is this true?

My neighbor decided she didn't want weeds from my lawn (there are not many) coming in to her yard through the fence, so she sprayed grass killer about 3 - 4 feet into my yard killing all my grass from the front to the back. She admitted that she did it. Do I have any recourse??

I have taken good care of my Impatiens, marigolds, petunias and geraniums all summer and given them Miracle Grow and yet they have been very apathetic until now. I notice this goes on year after year.

i was thinking about buying a new snowblower from the local tractor supply company and they have a 8 hp 30" cut with headlite, but last year i used another guys to do the driveway and such, but in a short time with the warmest gloves man could find they still got darn cold a few times, was wondering if a person can buy hot grips to make work on snowblower to keep hands warm, all the ones i find are used for 12 volt operations, and this does not have a battery of course, so is there a good kit somewhere that i can buy to get to work on this snowblower with out destroying something that i should not?
thanks in advance to all that reply =)
