I would go with blue. No wait...green! yes definitely green.

Without knowing the shade of green, I would say brown, tan, or cream. Take a paint sample with you to your local furniture store and they will help you find something that matches. I wouldn't suggest going with the same color of green for the couch as your carpet. Some shades of reds or maroons, even blues might look nice too depending on the shades. You can also get tips from decorating websites or HGTV.com. Good luck!

anything but bright red or blue. depends on what color green too. if its a dark green, its easy to match. any earthtones would work.

OK, since you said "green," I'm assuming you mean an icky vomitty green, so purple? Be more specific in your description of green!
