I have a thicker leather watch band, and it smells pretty bad after prolonged use. I tried washing it with saddle soap, to little avail. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks-

I have a 13 month old who gets into everything. I also have a bad ant problem. The ant's arn't in places you would expect to find them. They are getting into our cloths, around my computer, other electrical things and papers. There not around water or food. So I need something that I can spray that will dry so my daughter won't get into it. We have a brick home and I'm guessing they are comming in under the base boards becuase I can't ever find a trail. It almost looks like someone had a contaner of ants and just pored them in the middle of the floor. Please Help!!

The bookshelf will be approx. 80" or 72" tall/high on casters & the left and right sides will be covered with plywood. It will be framed with 2x4 wall studs...However, it will be open on both front & back sides only so both sides are useable (the left and right side will be closed with plywood).
Also, it will be approx. 36" wide x 23"deep. What do you think? Any tips, precautions, & is this doable? What is the best construction for this bookshelf?
It will be on casters so I can pull it away from the wall to access the other side. Thank you in advance. I don't want it to topple over and I don't want it to bow in the middle (under the weight of my books) or bow out on the sides (since it will be backless).
I am not rich so I am looking for a cost effective but safe & sturdy way to accomplish this project. I'm open to the suggestions of using other materials but it must be cost effective and safe. (example" 2x4 walls studs cost $1.79 each for an 8 foot stick/$14.00 for plywood sheets)

It's an Oreck XL Professional with a metal filter that never needs replacing. I bought the cleaning solution they sell, but I'm wondering if there is something else I can use? I need something that is going to take the caked on junk (mostly from cigarette smoke I think) off of the metal. Just in case anyone else has some experience with one.
Thanks!

The lillies were planted from 3 pots in May, 2005 and multiplied this year to a large quantity that bloomed beautifully in April. In mid-July they continued to develop large seed pods but have not bloomed again. What can I do to get them to bloom?

I have a 2 story brick home in TX that is 2250 sq ft. My A/C unit is 3.5 ton and it runs almost all afternoon. Of course it is hotter upstairs than it is down and I was wondering if there was a way to either push the hot air outside or redirect it to the return air, or what. Please help with some ideas on how to cool more efficiently without getting a bigger unit.

It gets moderate sunlight and is kept watered. I've had it for around 4yrs and is getting pretty tall. Over the past 6 months, the ends of the leaves started drying out.

I'm a dude currently living with 3 FEMALE roomates ... and I share a bathroom with 2 of them ... now, before the 2 moved in, the drains in the bathroom worked GREAT and I had NO problems with neither the sink nor shower drains. But now ... both are draining awfully slow and I find loose hair all over the place!

So I have two questions:

1.) How do I unclog the two drains most effectively?

and

2.) Do any ladies out there have any ideas as to how we can totally bypass this problem in the future?

Thanks!

The mug is pretty big for a mug. It's like the size of a toilet paper roll. How do I know how much water to put in it since it doesn't have drainage?
