im looking for bedroom furniture for my son unfortunatly i cant find anything that goes with the floor and want to try and get my hands on a cot bed and a chest of drawers and cant find anything on ebay

There are "unfinished furniture" stores in all big cities in the USA. In my area, a company called "Oak Express" is a chain that seems to be everywhere. A Yahoo search for "unfinished furniture" should turn up all kinds of results for you to explore.

Apart from going to the factory that makes the furniture, before they varnish it, I suggest you get the stuff you like then strip it of it's finish.

I remember in Indiana there is a store called Naked Furniture. You can buy the furniture unfinished or have them do it for you. I would check their website to see if they have a store in your area.

The furniture stores will usually special order it for you. If you don't mind spending the money cabinet makes will make it for you, butit is expensive, It also would be the best workmanship possible..

why .just take your furniture to a dip and stripe place and it will take all the varnish off the furniture you have
