All of my towels seem to leave fuzz all over my body when I use them, no matter how many times I wash them. Is there anything I can do to stop that??

Hi, now that I'm finally going to be free to live a civilian life, me and my girl and moving in together, near her family in Minnesota, that's her dream, so we'll move there.

My problem, is that I'm going to miss warm weather, and my lovely ocean, so to keep myself sane year round, we're making a tropical room, where I'll put a TV and some game systems and stuff, to calm my nerves during those miserable winters.

I was wondering if anybody had any good ideas for colors, things to use for a full-blown tropical feel. I'm thinking Wicker wood furniture, but what else??

Whenever I wash my zippered hoodies, I'm not sure what happens - either the zipper elongates, or the hoodie shrunk while the zipper didn't, or something. In any case, after it's washed, the zipper is too long for the hoodie, so if the hoodie lies flat (like when it's on me), the zipper bulges out and/or ripples. How do I prevent/reverse that?

My builder sprayed my exterior walk-out deck on the 2nd floor over the patio with a Polyurethane coating to provide a water-proof coating. The floor feels a little rubbery with undulations due to breezy conditions when he sprayed. Since the Polyurethane is grey in color, I would like to tile it - any size of tile is ok - but not sure if I can. Builder said I can tile after I apply thinset on top of the Polyurethane. I consulted Home Depot, the lady there recommended using a concrete back board on top of thinset. I don't want to add too much weight to the deck. What can I do? Thanks

My apartment had a problem a few nights ago where it was raining and then water started soaking up through my carpet. (There was roof work being done and they left something up there uncovered.)
I have been sucking water out of it madly with a steam cleaner and I have fans on it 24/7 but it is still damp and now it is starting to smell!!!
Help! How can I speed up the drying and get rid of the smell? And please, so smart aleck answers!

I just got a new portable dishwasher, but my kitchen sink's faucet has no threading on it, so there is no way to screw the hose onto the kitchen faucet. Is there an adapter that I can buy to bypass this problem?

I'm wondering; (i) what ph they prefer; (ii) soil type; (light requirements for best flowering results and (iv) should I amend with phor. or nit., Also how draught resisent are they. Thanks tricky ricky
