What is the best way to remove and KILL wasps that have nested under the front steps of my house?

Humidity is over 60% in house. There are floor drains and sump pump in basement. House is 2 story with basement. Heat pump in basement. Tons of room to install equipment. Portable unit does not do the job, and it's noisy. Have a new HVAC heat pump Trane 16i 16 SEER. Mid Atlantic region weather. Keep windows closed all year.

The flue cap got hit by hail and can only sitting on the flue. The wind blows it down. It doesn't screw on, it's held on by a clamp. I cannot find anywhere that sells replacement flue caps that clamp. I am open to rigging the cap so it will not blow off the flue in the wind.

i want to add breakers to my service panel, but the main wires to the main switch is exposed inside the panel. Is it just a matter of pulling out the meter and pushing it back in?

My new push mower is a simple pull start 4.75 hp Briggs and Stratton engine with side discharge. I bought this mower off display so I will receive a manual in the mail in a few weeks.

I have tightened all connections but hesitant to add fluids.

I assume adding 5w30 to correct levels and moistening the foam filter is all I need to do.?.? Unleaded gas of course will be added.

Does this sound correct and/or is there other steps?

the home and well are new as of fall 2005. I don't have details on the well. This odor just started a day or two ago. It smells like dirt...not sulfur...just plain dirt. The water looks fairly clean in small amounts.
