In addition to the other answers... cutting power being the most important: when you remove the beauty ring to reveal the mount... you may find a little metal hook... this hook is designed to allow you to hang the fan motor to the electrical box so that you can easily disconnect the wires... If you don't see a hook under there, use some wire or something strong to tie it up... This will keep you from having to hold the motor with one hand or head, and trying to do the wire work with your other hand. Once it's electrically disconected.. unhook it and you've completed the job without hardly any heavy lifting.

Turn off power. Remove blades. Remove light fixture. Remove cowling . Remove motor. Or go to this install site and do it in reverse order!

If you need to ask that question, you don't need to tackle it, but best way is to have a extra person, turn off power and drop it down in 1 piece and disconnect the wires

I can't tell you because I can't see the fan, but the FIRST thing you need to do, is shut off the breaker to the fan! Don't forget to cut the power to it, or you'll end up shocking yourself.

First turn off the power from the main breaker. Then one screw at a time, then one wire at a time.
