The two small drive chains under the seat normaly do not need adjustment.
There should be some slack in them.
Now, as far as the outside drive chains, those have a black plastic tensioner that needs to be replaced after a while.

Unless there is a drive problem, don't bother with it.

the plastic idlers should be somewhat smooth. If they are deeply gauged, replace them. Also pay particular attention to the small sprocket. If the teeth are worn and un even, replace them. Next, check the springs on the idler arm. Are they broke? Missing? or compressed? If so, the chain may be stretched and needs replaced or some links removed to get the proper angle on the idler. This angle is important to keep the chain from coming off do to force at the wrong point. Causing the chain to bind.

some times the mounting bracket allows you to slide the motor back to adjust tension. then tighten bolts.
