I was given a 10 year old Kenmore Heavy Duty portable washing machine that leaks under the bottom . I would like to know what may be the problem and how or if it can be fixed.

It still washes real good.

We live in Wyoming and our land is at at 8000+ feet, so snow load is a consideration. We are a couple, grown kids, so just the 2 of us, so we don't need a ton of room, but want to be comfortable -trying to decide what size yurt, too. Also considering a year-round tipi - so anyone with experiences there to share I would appreciate. There are several larger manufacturers of ready-to-build yurts - we sould be purchasing one of these. I know that you can buy plans and build your own from scratch, but that's not what we are planning to do.

I live in Cleveland, Ohio and have a vinyl lined in ground pool. It is 18 X 36 and anywhere from 3 feet deep to 10-12 feet in the deep end. Can we drain the pool and have it empty during the winter time? I have heard that pool walls may collapse if it was empty. Is this true? We plan on emptying and starting fresh in the next season, just curious if we could empty it now.

I have BAM to kill them immediately, so I don*t need to know what kills them, but I want to know what will repel them. They are suddenly coming out of three of my kitchen cabinets. Does anyone know what these things like to eat.? Maybe I can put some stuff out to attract them then poison them.

All I need is a very simple and free program to design a 4X7 ft deck with a set of stairs on the rear of my house. Nothing fancy, but yet still can render 3 views with dimensions for my town. Thats all. Please send an answer quickly.

It seems it takes hours for the room to get cool, and it certainly never gets chilly. I've cleaned the filter and the machine, and made sure it is level. It is about 6 yrs old.

I was following online advice and bought a good clipper and was going to wait 2 years before pruning for the first time. Someone thought they were doing me a favor and cut them a year early with old clipper! They look awful! It looks like weeds or a different plant growing from some of the clipped stems. Most are stunted and haven't grown an inch in 1 month! Any idea how to repair? Thanks for ideas!!

Have major nicotine stains on the wall, and want to paint over it. I would like to know can I paint directly over it with a primer or is it best to clean the walls first?

If I use a primer, should it be oil or water based?
Thanks
Matt

I was telling my friend from the Moon that semi-detached houses are built to look like one house. Why then, he wondered, do the owners paint their half a different colour? Now I'm wondering too.
