I have a Frigidaire refridgerator and freezer. Ever since I have had it I have the freezer set to as warm as it will go, and it is still too cold. My refridgerator was working fine until a few days ago and now it is really warm (still cool, but not nearly enough), but the freezer is still frozen solid - Any help???

Am I alone or is it a common problem that mold (mildew?) appears esp. near the bottom of a tiled shower stall very quickly ? THis mold does not come out with stuff like TIlex since it becomes impregnated into the caulk.

I spilled a good deal of KY Jelly on the carpet and let it sit. Now I have been trying to scrub it out with water and a stiff brush but it's not working. The KY monster is just growing, and my scrub brush is slick.

I found a italian coffee maker, that is worth about $50-60. I have also found some adorable original oil paintings that I have no idea what they are worth. I got a ladder and a wheel barrow for $5 a piece. Yay for estate sales, I love them!

I have a new place. Each month the utility bill runs sky high. The air conditioning runs 24/7. I can place it on 85 and it won't shut off. If I put it on 55, it never reaches 70 in here. The front room is 20 degrees hotter than the rest of the place. What is the nicest way to ask the landlord to come and put a few fixes to make the air function properly.

We just moved in to a house and there are some plants in the back garden and just wondered what they are.

They are large plants, maybe 4 feet tall with green, long thin leaves. The flowers only come out about 9 pm and are yellow and smell faintly of lemon. They look dead during the day and just spring open suddenly at dusk.
No one seem to know what they are.

the ants significantly disappeared first. few days later, they show up again. I made the new borax/suger mix, but they don't eat the bait.
Another related question: I used Grant's Ant Stakes half year ago, it worked. now I use the 6 month old stakes, ants don't bite them at all. I opened the stakes, there are still lots yellow, sticky maerial inside. does the poison has expiration date?

I don't want to purchase something harsh that will damage the finish or the paint. I kind of want to know something homemade that will work quick and do just as a good job as those ones you purcahse at home.

My tub is really old, but not old enough to be galvanized. I'm not sure what the material is. But it holds dirt and scum and soap residue like you wouldn't believe! We also have hard water, so there's lots of calcium build-up. I've used abrasive cleansers, which work somewhat, but nothing seems to get it really clean. I also filled it with bleach water and drained it. No change. My fave cleaner is Bar Keepers Friend. It works great in the sinks. But I can't find anything that works on this tub!
