Wet with warm / hot water, scrape gently with plastic scraper (like those that come with pampered chef stoneware).

Rub a little cooking oil or peanut butter over them with a soft cloth, and keep rubbing til they're removed. Then clean the surface with whatever you usually use.

wd40 is terrific. I have even used lemon juice
on my fridge and with a little effort it comes off.

i've used pvc pipe cleaner, it will take it right off, but dont use it on anything with paint on it as it will take off paint also. you can use it on lenolium, plastic laminate etc. i've even used it on carpet but test a spot somewhere first.

take scotch tape rub the sticky side on the masking tape , should take it off..
