Power wash it. Don't use chemicals if you have plants or fish in the pond. You can check out algae eaters at aquarium stores or garden nurseries. My husband also added that algae can be skimmed from the top of the pond. DO NOT USE Chemicals -it will kill the plant life and fish.

Its a continuing process unfortunately...it keep coming back. There are numerous products on the market. Go to a pond and waterfall site on the Internet and take your pick. I have yet to find one that is particular effective.
What works best for me is blasting it off with my pressure washer. Its simple and fast. You can get one from about $60 up.

Algaecide (Can be found at most Walmarts, Home Depot , etc.)for swimming pools and a scrub brush. Be sure and wear gloves and eye protection. You use the algaecide straight from the bottle pour some or better yet spray it on ,scrub it, let sit ,rinse and repeat if necessary.

They have an algecide at Walmart that last for 3-months. You can't use this if you have plants or fish in it. Then you have to scrub or power wash.
