A friend just gave me a microwave that works fine. However, it has tons of grease ect inside. There is a product you can put in the microwave that cleans the inside quickly, but I can't remember the name. Does anyone know? Thanks

There are some Easy Off brand microwave wipes. I have never used them myself. If you look them up on a search engine, you should be able to get some customer reviews. I looked and the product seemed to get pretty decent reviews. I may try them myself. That is a nasty place to try to clean. Good luck, I hope you find something that will work for you!

I believe Easy Off has a product designed to clean microwaves. You put the package in the microwave for like a minute and it steams and dissolves the grease. I sometimes boil a cup of water in the microwave to make it steamy, then wipe it with a scrubber sponge. It seems to work well.

Look for Krud Kutter (sold at Home Depot). It works wonders. Also, take a bar mop or thick dish cloth and get it very damp, and wring it out half way so that it's still pretty damp. Put it in the center of your microwave and run the microwave for one minute. Let it sit a minute or two, and take the cloth out (but be careful...it'll be HOT. The steam that's created from the wet cloth loosens any dried, crusty food and you can just wipe it off. After doing this, spray the interior with an antibacterial cleaner and wipe again with a clean, damp cloth.

I don't know the name of the product you refer to but one thing I find that helps to clean a microwave is to put a bowl of water in the oven and turn it on high for one minute. The steam will soften any hardened dirt. Then use a good dishwashing liquid and lots of hot water to clean the inside of the microwave. My kids often make buttered microwave popcorn and it can leave quite a mess. This method works well for greasy film.

the simplest way to clean a microwave is to place a bowl with a mixture of lemon juice and water, let it boil, cut it off and let it sit, wait about 5-7 minutes take a damp cloth and wipe it down. This method will not only clean the microwave but remove any odors from it as well.

A natural way is to place a bowl of water with lemon juice & salt in the microwave for 5 minutes. Then take that solution and a rag and wipe it down.
This method is good for cleaning out coffee pots too! (but don't microwave the pot!!) ha!

Spray with Greased Lightning, turn microwave on for 10 seconds, and wipe out.

PlACE A BOWL OF WATER INSIDE. TURN ON MICROWAVE UNTIL WATER BOILS. THE INSIDE WILL WIPE DOWN VERY EASILY.

EASY OFF MICROWAVE CLEANING CLOTHES IS WHAT YOU ARE ASKING ABOUT. MY WAY WORKS A LOT CHEAPER

you can take your rag and soak it...put it in the microwave and turn it on for like 5 minutes. use tongs to get it out, or wait till it cools. you can just wipe down the grease and grime.
this way you dont have to use any cleaners at all.

i just take a bowl of water and put it in the micro and cook it for like 6-7 minutes and the water will boil and the steam will soften up the food, and then just wipe with a cloth. be careful taking the bowl out of the micro. or i have a steamer, just spray that in there for about 30-secs and wipe. good luck!!
