I placed a copper ornament into a plastic baggie full of Tarnx in my stainless steel sink and let it soak for 3 days to get the tarnish off, now I have a nasty stain I can't get out. I've tried steel wool..more Tarnx...Ajax...Soft Scrub...even a paste made of baking soda...anyone know how I can clean it up?

This pillow form is shaped like a circle cut in half. It is about 15 inches long. I have no idea how to cover it with material and how to do the ends and make it look good. I tried to cut the ends separately and attached them, but it looks bad.

I am a single mother w/2 daughters, 15 & 21. I work part-time as secretary at church, and full-time job graphic design. I also volunteer with the American Legion, local library board. I just cannot seem to find the time to get caught up with my chores at home (such as spring cleaning - it came and went). I need a month of vacation I think to get my house in order the way I want. But I don't have that much vacation to use. I would like some "my time" to relax and read and enjoy myself, but I'm afraid that will never happen. Both daughters work part-time, are in school & college. Just seem to be always on the run lately. HELP!!!

We've got an old house with no air conditioning. It's about 98 degrees outside and the house is getting HOT. We've got fans running in the rooms we are in and turn them off when we leave the room. Should we leave the windows open to help get air circulating (but let in the outside heat), or close them (keeping the already hot air in, but the super hot oustide air out)?

Best answer could help lots of people during all these heat waves.

Thanks.
