how can i put a switch on my pool filter?

replaced old filter, new one des not have on/off switch. is there an easy way to install one?

Use a timer, then you won't have to run out regularly to turn it off and on. The 24 hr timers come with their own on/off switch.

Yes its easy enough, but this should be on a GFI circuit, in a metal box- The Timer sounds like a good idea, but more money.

splice into the electric line to the pump and install.
