They're damp in little patches due to rain - how can I dry them quickly?

Pressure. Cotton towels to soak it up, putting as much pressure on them as you can. You want to make sure to get the pad underneath dry too.

Use a towel. Put it on the damp patches and step on it to get the water to soak into the towel. Get as much as you can out that way, then set up a fan to blow on the carpet to quickly dry what's left in the carpet.

you may need a de-humidifier plus if possible lift them up off the floor on a chair or something to get air under them where they are wet
