Hi,

I'm considering hauling my mobile home about 30 miles from where I currently have it. Any ideas on how much this would cost me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am considering buying a serger, but don't know much about them other than they can do a professional job on seams, much better than a sewing machine. I would like to understand how they work, and what to consider when buying one.

Had been mowing the lawn for about an hour today and stopped it to talk to a neighbor just before it was done. Tried to restart after about 5-10 minutes then the motor kept intermittently revving then slowing down (almost stall) - kept doing this over and over... about 2 seconds of rev then 2 seconds really slow. Three weeks ago, I cleaned the air filter and replaced the spark plug (followed all instructions for gapping the plug and oil soaking the filter). The mower worked great for the two weeks after that and for the first hour today. There was no smoke. I let it rest for a half hour then re-started... same thing. Checked the oil... about halfway down the 'add' area... nothing overly concerning. Checked the gas... low but not empty. I filled that gas tank anyway and restarted... same thing... so I just finished the last 4 rows (very slowly) then stopped.

Do you think that the mower skipping was due to it being hot from running for an hour or could it be something else?

Have lawn mower with engine that"skips". Sounds like clogged air filter, but cleaned and still skips. Suggestions anyone? I have had someone recommend putting Engine cleaner, "Heat" in it and letting it run, but could it be something else? I don't even know where to look next. Briggs & Stratton push lawnmower engine.

I stored a pleather sofa and chair in the basement, and now it's covered with dust. I'd like to give it to my neighbor who needs furniture.

It honestly fooled most people, and I often received compliments on my "leather" couch and chair set. No one had a clue if was pleather. So if I can clean and shine it up, I think it is just what my neighbor can use until she's back on her feet.

Any suggestions, or is a wet towel the best solution?

We recently had our hardwood floors refinished and want to preserve them. Is there one particualr cleaner/polisher that is recommended? I checked at our local hardware store and there seems to be a pletheora of products but not sure which one to use for general cleaning that won't cause build up or cause the finish to erode. Thank you

i bought these for the large patio window: (sorry, it won't let me add the link)
http://www.target.com
search: Global Home Sequins Panel - Pink/Purple

they are fuschia and magenta striped (big stripes) with silver trails going down the striping.

i have 4 other windows. what colors should those curtains be? fushia? teal? dark blue? sheer?

walls are white...would the room look better painted, or left as is?

i'm going for some sort of morrocan (maybe) theme with lots of bright colors...pinks, purples, teal, yellow, and orange. suggestions welcome.

The vicar peering over the garden wall.
Well Tom, you and the good Lord have certainly got that garden looking a treat.
Yes vicar, but you should have seen it when the Lord had it to himself.
