Well, I am not sure what worked but the Mocking Bird is gone… I had read somewhere that they only hang around and sing for 2 weeks and then they move on. I’m not sure if that is how long it takes to find a mate or if that is how long they stay in one place looking for one… Well, by the time we got so frustrated and was ready to go buy that plastic Owl or a slingshot, he left on his own. Believe it or not, it was right on the 2 week mark… Thank you for your responses.

Try getting a large plastic owl. Place it in your yard, but don't leave it out constantly. Remove it from time to time.

I had a similar problem with a Flicker that pounded on the satelite dish every dawn for a while.

In my case a live owl moved into the area and chased the pest away, but I'm told the plastic ones work, as long as you don't leave them out ALL the time.

Hang a fake owl in the area most bird will find somewhere else to go.

Why don't you start crying in a louder voice then bird's mocking, I suppose bird will be kind enough then not to trouble,O.K.?

"To Kill a Mockingbird" is not a treatise or a DIY book, OK?

You may need to install soemthing that makes a counter noise to chase them off.

Move to the city and get away from those nasty natural sounds.
