Has anyone ever used a feather duster to paint interior walls? And I wanted to know if there are any tips you might have? Of course, I am using a brush/roller for the solid blue which is about 2 shades darker than what I am using the feather duster for. My main desire, is to produce a print effect with the feathers. I also I wondered if the right duster is needed. The ones that I have bought are cut off evenly and I am wondering if the other kind, where the feathers get smaller and smaller as the extend from the handle is needed?

I was half-jokingly talking with someone about this: Say you have a shower on the second floor. Could the sewage line from the shower be routed so that it sprayed out onto the lawn? Mind you, NOT THE TOILET, but just the sewage pipe from the shower. So basically, dirty, soapy water would spray out on the lawn.

Would this work, or would this be completely insane?

Anyone know what should happen if I purchase the ground rent to my house? The landlord sent me a letter saying I could buy it. I sent off a cheque but have heard nothing since. Should I ask a solicitor or can I do something myself?

We just painted some rooms in our house and the bathroom was one of them. We painted it pink and I like the color but I think it needs a little "something". I don't really like the look of sponging, so I am wondering what some other techniques are? I've heard of ragging. How is that easiest done? Are there any other ones...nothing too complex...I'm a beginner.
