If you are referring to Paulownia tomentosa-no. it will become much too large for a small yard

This invasive tree is not good for most yards. It grows 10-20 ft. in one season & can reach 30-60 ft in height. Just one tree produces 20 million seeds that germinate quickly. Getting rid of these seedlings has become a real ecological problem.
A more desirable tree for a small yard would be a redbud or flowering dogwood.

Wow, big tree. Fast growing, too. It's better suited for large estates! You're better off looking for varieties in the following: Cornus florida, Cercis canadensis, Acer campestre, Acer ginnala, Betula nigra, Chionanthus, Halesia, Syringa reticulata.
