I wish to buy a nail gun to shoot nails into hard material. Anyone into construction? What is the difference between an air pressure nail gun and electric nail gun. Of course, the air pressure nail gun requires an air compressor and an electric nail gun is a lot cheaper. Is it the same power?

I added a new concrete slab on my back portch area. The contractor splattered concrete on my window and screen and did not clean it away while it was wet. Now I'm stuck with removing this dried mess. By the way....the contractor has been out on leave for a few weeks and won't return until August. He has not been paid any money for the work he has done so far. The splattered concrete is bugging me. ....afterall, it's an ugly mess. .

We moved into this house last fall. The people who had owned it for 3 yrs did not take very good care of the yard. Late this spring we started working on bringing back the yard , planting flowers , grass and so on. One day I was edging the yard and up came a ton of earwigs. Now I am starting to find the darn things in my house! started in the Basement and now I am even finding them on the second floor! I have a pet, so I am not much into using pesticides as I fear she may ingest or inhale them somehow. Anybody know of some old fashioned tricks or non-chemical ways of ridding us of these creatures?
