Well, if it survived the varnish, you could try one of those Oxy products and let it soak overnight. But replacing it is probably your best bet.

Coke believe it or not it removes rust off of a battery on your car so just put it in your washer add a can of coke & your regular laundry detergent you'll be amazed lol

Put it in the freezer with water on the stain. Let freeze. Then wash.

If shirt is light in color, poor 1/2 sprite after detergent.....
If shirt is dark in color, poor 1/2 coke after detergent.....
And I ain't kiddin, try it and you'll see...
Works wonders with Slacks and Blue Jeans...

Use paint remover, it may seem a bit rough but it works well and doesn't ruin clothes...
