Oxy clean is great for this. I put Oxyclean in the washer fill it up and put white cloths in and let it agitate for a few min then turn washer off and let them sit for awhile

You can either use 1cup of Vinegar or 1 Cup of Lemon Juice either one works fine.That's what I do when I don't have any Bleach

You could use MRS. STEWART'S bluing, you should be able to find in most super markets. and it does work. you can also use it to grow crystals.
