I have done this for Fall table decoration, it s simple and inexpensive. Purchase small to medium size pumpkins, hollow our as you would for a Jack O Lantern. Cut Oasis used for fresh flowers a little larger then the opening, soak thoroughly then place in pumpkin. I purchased several Mum plants of different colors and cut the flowers off and made arrangement from them. You can use some fall leaves from outdoors as the filler, but these need to be placed in the day you will have the church affair. Also I have used Ivy and other greenery from outdoors. Sometimes I have tied one or two balloons of different lengths in fall colors to the pumpkins or made a bow to add to the front. The reason that I purchase Mum plants is you get a lot of flowers, they are usually very full and at their peak, lastly I place the pants in the garden for next year. This is a fun project I hope this helps.......

Get a cornucopia, add some more of your autumn leaves in it, and lay some miniature pumpkins, indian corn and dried wheat, this can be easily assembled before your church gathering and readily available from any grocery store. You can find the cornucopia in any craft store or the dollar tree stores. Another idea is to buy a 4" blooming yellow or orange chrysanthemum plant. Use as is or you can decorate by sticking autumn leaves and dried wheat.
