Many sports injuries are minor, such as sprains. But doctors say they are seeing an increase in overuse injuries, stress fractures, tendanitis, bursitis and chronic pain syndromes.
But im looking at the positive side of students playing sports like the fact that they are more fit in High School and as they get older they are less likely to become obese, which is the number one problem in the U.S.
But what how else do you think High School sports can be rewarding besides keeping students fit ?

I know this is not a question but I wanted to share it.

New Skin (liquid bandage) will remove warts. I just painted it on, left on for several days, ripped it off and repainted. It is cheap and painless, doesn't burn the surrounding skin.

It is also good to remove precancerous rough spots on face and hands.

Actually, when i speak normally i start stammering, it is not that i am scared or anything, it just comes naturally. Suppose i want to say something to someone which is very urgent i cannot say it fast, the words dont come out fast, i have to open my mouth for some time till the word comes.

I an a 55 year old female with long standing hypertension. I was diagnosed this past July with osteopenia, so my primary care physician recommended I take 1200 mg of a calcium supplement along with 400 mg Vitamin D daily and suggested working more dairy products and calcium fortified orange juice into my diet. Around the same time my cardiologist added 5 mg of Amlodipine (Norvasc) to my daily medications in an attempt to control my hypertension. I also take Hyzaar (100/25), Aspirin (325) and Vitamin C supplement (500 mg) Shortly after starting the Calcium and Amlodipine regimen, I became severely constipated. I did some online research and found that calcium often causes constipation, so I discontinued taking the supplement, but the problem persists. I’m still continuing with yogurt, cheese and the orange juice. I tried ramping up intake of whole grain and fresh fruit, but this hasn't helped. Should I continue with the calcium? How can I avoid the constipation?

My mother has been sick now for about a week with a stomach virus and was told by a nurse she needs to replace her electrolytes. She does not like sports drinks and has been only drinking water but is still weak from no appetite and not eating. Can she use pedialyte or is there something like pedialyte for adults?

I have X-Rays on Friday that were clear except for the fact I had some stool backed up in my colon. So, I was put on a laxative to clean it out. I've been on it for 2 days, but I still have the pain. Ultra Sound showed nothing either. If this pain isn't gone by Monday, we're scheduling the test where I drink barium and they do X-Ray's. Please tell me what you think this is. I was afraid it was Colon Cancer because my grandfather had it and I know Crohn's Disease (sometimes) goes with Colon Cancer. Could it be that?

Don't say "go to the Doc/ER".

There's this girl in my school, really nice, a good friend, and she seems normal and healthy. But she has this strange thing going on with her butt. The center of her lower back, just above her butt, sticks out suddenly. Her butt doesn't even seem to be there. Its kinda like a big boney hump in her lower back. Its very strange and it makes her look like she's waddling from side to side. Sometimes i think its a tail or something but no one really knows what the hell it is!!! Any ideas?
