got stuck in it, Not My lips and around them are purple and they are really swolen. I put ice on it and it didn't help. ANYTHING I can do? I am SO embarrased!

You just drew blood into your lips and hopefully did not break any blood veins. get a frozen package from the freezer, and press against your lips using your teeth to support them, be gentle and in a day or two it should go away. Try taking a comb and gently combing the area that is purple, it is like a hicky and hickies can be reduced by combing the skin. it presses the blood cells drawn to the surface back into the skin.

Well... My 3 year old did that, but with a cup, and caused a "HICKEY" looking thing all the way around her mouth... Unfortunately everything I tried was un successful, so I really am not sure of anything that you can do to help it. Sorry, but good luck!

you got an ecchimose. nope nothing you can do its a type of bruising. it has to go away on its own. im 22 now, but when i was 12, i bought those mini basketball nets that you stick on your bedroom window, and i kept sticking it and unsticking it to my forehead thinking it would be funny. this was 2 days before my cousins birthday. i had a HUGE bruise on my forehead at the wedding. but it went away in about a week. sorry xox
