Hadn't heard this one before; the one common in the US is generally "my ears are burning". In Japan, supposedly you sneeze if someone is talking about you. There's likely similar ones in other cultures -- just one of those superstitions that vary culture by culture.

I've never heard of this one either. I have heard that in some parts of Europe it's believed by the superstitous, that if you ear itches (or burns), someone is talking about you. If it's your left ear, they're not saying anything nice, if it's your right ear, they're saying something flattering.

Never heard about this one. In our area,if some one gets hiccups while eating,it is said that some one is remembering the eater.

actually if your right ear 'tickles' then it means that someone is talking about you in a negative way. if your left ear 'tickles' someone is talking about you in a positive way.
