My mother has been sick now for about a week with a stomach virus and was told by a nurse she needs to replace her electrolytes. She does not like sports drinks and has been only drinking water but is still weak from no appetite and not eating. Can she use pedialyte or is there something like pedialyte for adults?

Gatorade has a lot of different flavors. I looked for an adult version of Pedialyte for myself a while ago but couldn't find anything.

There is indeed an adult Pedialyte. Ask the pharmacist. She can also use the children's variety. It's fine.

In the meantime, put a little sugar and a pinch of salt in the water.

She must replace her electrolytes, the nurse is right.

You can use Pedialyte or make your own-there are recipes on the Internet.

There's a type of water called "smartwater." it's got electrolytes in it, but no taste, just water. You can get it at certain grocery stores. If you google their site, you can look up which stores in your area carry it. Good luck!!
