Ok: I don't really know how to ask this but i'll try, please excuse the long explanation... I wear rings, and have been for awhile, and I was wondering if it is possible for certain people to have higher "body acid" levels (i don't know what they are called)? Im asking this because I've worn gold, platinum, and silver rings and they all get worn out really fast, (like, within a month they turn black-ish). I was told that I have a high PH level or something, which can eat away certain metals, and i've found that titanium is the only metal that won't get worn out.
Here's the question(s): First off, is the whole "body acid/PH level" thing true, and is there a way to lower the acid levels, like changing my diet a little? If not, are there any metals that are strong/acid resistant?
