I work as a Health Care Worker, I feel we are under represented and not respected for the work we do, why
do we get paid so low, when we give such valuable help to people who cannot help themselves, we may not have to
use our brain much, especially in making decisions, like say, someone who works in the Stoke Exchange, but what would the NHS do without the likes of us? who care so much for our ageing population, who are in nursing homes and residential homes. Sorry feeling a bit low, tired I guess!!

No, not THAT kind of implant, silly! I'm a dude!

My dentist wants to make me a "bridge" for a back molar, and I'd like something a bit more permanent. He thinks the molar is too close to my nasal cavity. What do you think?

I have been recently having trouble sleeping in my boyfriend's bed(a queen with two pillows and one big blanket.) When I am alone in the bed I fall asleep no problem but as soon as he gets in the bed I am tossing and turning and can't get comfortable. I wake up 2-3 times a night after I finally fall asleep and when I wake in the morning I feel like I only slept 5 minutes.

When we sleep in my bed (which is a twin with loads of pillows, soft sheets and big fluffy blankets) it still takes me a minute or two to get comfy but then I am out like a light and wake up feeling refreshed.

MY one suspicio is that his bed isn't comfortable enough for me, but the thing is when he's not init I sleep just fine. We have a very loving relationship so I know my subconcious isn't trying to get my attention, but what the heck? How can I deal with this?

I get a terrible headache at work almost every day. If I leave the building it goes away. I have a feeling it's the big glaring flourescent light directly above my desk. Is that possible?

(also, it goes away in meetings and such where the light is track lighting)

Triple lower back fusion with rods and screws.Been to sev. different specialists.Currently having injections monthly. They're very painful and do not last for more than 2 weeks. These consist of nerve blocks,SI joint injections, and trigger point injections.I am also diabetic and can't have any steriods.I am SO tired of pills and the reactions from them. Most of all,the lack of mobility because of the pain.I am currently on an anti-depressant.I feel that it helps with my mood, but not with the pain. Currently on pain med and muscle relaxer.I don't want to feel drugged and am very sensitive to medicines. Can't take any anti-inflamatory meds..stomach problems. Before you say,"talk" to your doctors.I HAVE!! I need something to work! I have been in phys.therapy, which I am not a candidate. The risk of re-injury is so high with the degenerative disc disease, and knee problems.Even tried the muscle stimulation, water therapy, moist heat, massage, ice packs.Symptoms returned after a short relief. HELP!

I will be turning 21 in 2 months and currently I dont have any medical, dental, or vision insurance. If I didn't want to go through my job for the insurance, how else could i establish it?

My monthly income is around 2k/month right now. I'm working 2 jobs and saving up for school coming up in Fall. I dont know if that makes a difference or not in the insurance but I'll listen to your answers!

At work, I almost constantly have a headache. It kind of feels like a sinsus headache. My eyes hurt, too.

If I apply pressure to my neck or certain part of my face, the pain is temporarily aliviated.

It's only at work. As soon as I leave the building, it's gone...

I do office work. (and sit all day). I love my job.

Any logical explination for this?

I am thinking of doing a distance learning course on Nutritional Therapy (for self interest) but before parting with money want to read a good book to make sure I am going in the right direction. I am particularly interested in healing through food. Foods to avoid for certain conditions, i.e. dairy is mucous forming etc.

My daughter's 15 month Well-Child check has been cancelled for the 3rd time to STUPID SNOW STORMS the morning of her appointment. She turned 15 months on 2-27-07. The doctor didn't do her 12-15 month shots at her 12 month check cause she had a cold. What happens now that she's "older" than 15 months--can she still have the shots?
-do I have to start over with certain shots?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure people drink can after can of caffinated soft drinks (not to mention coffee) every day. There's so many (Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew) even super caffinated drinks like those energy drinks. What's this going to do our health in the future since I think this rate of caffiene drinking is unprecendented!
