god, yall are messed up. I was talking about sunscreen. and the aserisks were for "sun" but, i don't know why the marked it out.. must be screwed up, but, it is really ridiculus how you jump to conclusions. i wouldn't have sex i am 12 for crying out loud!

If you mean sunscreen for protection from the sun, Yes.
If you mean helmets, elbow pads and knee pads when skateboarding, Yes.
If you mean condoms during sex, Yes...but you should not be having sexual intercourse at your age. While physically your body is ready, mentally you are not. When the right time comes, you will know it. Always be safe and protect yourself no matter what you are doing. Your body is a temple, you should treat it accordingly.

Ive read through the first couple of comments and I think they are out of line and this is why young people like yourself feel that they have no one to talk to and this is a shame. Personaly I do feel that you are a bit young to be thinking in terms of sex and if you can wait I think you should. Let your body do its thing because you dont want any babies right now, not because of the expence or because you would be a bad mother (later in life you could be an awsome parent but you have school right now) and the thought of getting something that could kill you is truly frightening.
I hope that you are still reading because after the lecture I just gave I would also like to say that I am aware that sex is on the minds of young people and that you are going to have sex reguardless of if we agree with you or not when you are ready. This is a personal decision that you should think long and hard on. If you do decide that sex is for you please use protection. Protection should be used reguardless of age. Many young adults feel that its impossible for them to find themselves with a life threatening disease or a child but honey it hapens every day. You should also look into birth control as another form of contraseptive but ALWAYS use a condom even if you do use birth control to prevent desease.
If you are considering this seriously do a little research and see how effective the different types of contraseptives are and what can happen to you if you dont use any. I dont want to preach to you I just want to give you information so that you can make an educated decision. I support you either way just be safe about it. I know what you are going through. Peer pressure and the feeling that "everyone else is doing it". If you were my daughter, I would want you to be strong and understand who you are and have the courage to tell your friends that you are going to wait until you are older.
Lots of things come into the picture when you start having sex. You start having to worry about things that you shouldn't have to think about at 12. Babies, diseases, self-esteem, your personal image, etc.
I want to encourage you to wait until you are older. Your body is a temple and treat it as a sacred place.
But if you are going to have sex, please prepared. Talk to your mother or another trustworthy adult(not your friends) about it and if you do give in, use protection each and every time. And remember that condoms and birth control aren't 100% effective. You can still get herpes if the outbreak is in a place that is not covered up by the latex.

If you're twelve years old then you really shouldn't be having sex at all. Emotional immaturity and pure ignorance is a bad mixture. This may sound like what your parents would say but there are reasons you shouldn't have sex at such a young age. Take it from me, you should avoid sex for a while instead of having to deal with the inherent complications sex brings. I had sex at an early age and regret it because of the complications it brought along. My ex-girlfriend became pregnant with her second child at the age of 16, she'll tell you to wait too.

You need to go play with your dolls little girl.
You are way too young to even be thinking about sex.
And if you just can't keep your pants on YES use protection.
You don't want to end up with an STD and possibly become
infertile. Be smart. By now you should have had sex ed at school. Didn't you pay attention?

Protection for what? At 12 you shouldn't even be thinking about intercourse. If you meant something else then you need to clarify your post. Also use real words instead of Asteriks *** to say what you mean. If you meant to say sex then type that so people now what you mean. At 12 I doubt you are ready to handle a baby 24./7.

Are you wondering about sex? If so then if you are considering having sex then yes you should always use protection no matter how old you are. But if you are being pressured into having sex, I don't think you should. Your 12 and you still have alot of time to be thinking about sex. But if you do, yes please use protection you don't want to be a 12 year old parent.

Of course... but i dun think u r suitable nor really for sex... 12 is really too young... and even u use protection u may still have e chances getting pregnant... r u sure u wanna be a mum at e age of 12...

If the only risk were you getting an STD, I'd say "don't bother," but by the sound of it the entire starting offensive line at the local high school is in danger of contracting an STD from YOU.
The child you'd make deserves a better mommy.

you are a baby not old enough to be worrying about such things....Go play with your Barbie dolls and give this a few more years. In most states whomever has sex with a 12 year old can go to jail and labled a child molester.Unless they are 12 too and that is not sex my dear
