I had my uterus and cervix removed a year ago and a week ago had exploratory surgery and due to scar tissue they had to remove one of my ovaries. I have been real emotional since the surgery and was not sure if it is because my body has been through so much or if having one ovary can mess up your hormones??? Does the one ovary I have left produce twice the hormones to make up for the one that is gone or do your hormones change???

I ate Sushi for lunch, after about an hour, and still now (about two hours since eating) I'm getting waves of nausea that come and go every 10-20 minutes that last about a minute or two, plus a sort of constant sick feeling or a mild stomach and lower stomach pain and cramping (Not sure if this is what a stomach cramp feels like). I've never had a problem with sushi before but this could have been left out too long or something, but now I'm sitting at work and wondering if it's going to get worse...

My question is how long after eating can food poisoning symptoms start? It was only an hour until I started feeling a bit cruddy and within an additional half hour, I started getting the above symptoms. Could food poisoning come on that fast? (I might want to call the cafeteria staff and let them know that there might be a problem with they're sushi today or something).

Any help (preferably with sources for something like this...) would be great, thanks a lot guys.

My dr. & I do a lot of flirting back and forth when I'm there. I find him very attractive, but would never try to act on it, since we're both married, and the whole dr./patient ethics issue. When I was there last, the conversation somehow turned to an old girlfriend he had. He said he wasn't interested in any romance or committment, and made that clear to her up front. She, however, apparently fell in love with him, and turned sort of stalker-like on him. He went on to say that he broke it off with her, and said it was "too bad because the sex was great". I was rather taken by surprise, and even had him repeat what he said. I see him maybe three or four times a year, but the banter between us seems to get racier with each visit. Is it okay to flirt with my dr.? Is all of this personal disclosure on his part okay?

I have a weak stomach and it's quite embarassing. In my Human Sexuality class I've had to leave early during an STD lecture, pregnancy video, and birth control lecture. I also had trouble sitting through a lecture in a Perception class on the eye/brain. I can't watch people put contacts in (not to mention I can't use contacts myself), I don't eat meat in fear of gristle or anything gross, I can't clean my pets' ears, and (this might be weird), I can't insert my own fingers into my vagina without feeling naseous.




What causes this? Did I lack some sort of exposure as a child? No one else in my family has problems like this. Is it possible to overcome?

If I was to use aquaseous cream to soothe skin with acne, could this make it worse? Will it make the skin greasy and block pores? Or could it actually help to treat acne?

I am taking Omega-3 fish oil softgels (1000 mg) once a day.
The suggested use on the bottle says to take one or two softgels two times daily, so that could be a total of 4 softgels daily.
Do you think that the one softgel (1000 mg) I am taking daily is enough?
