Some people have them, some don't... Some have really big ones... Do they mean anything healthwise?

I don't believe that they are indicative of anything healthwise. You just inherited a family trait.

They don't mean anything. It is something inherited. Some people have them some don't. Just like some people can "curl" their tongue and some can't.

I was told you bumped or hurted the nail a few weeks back. And that develops in its place.
