I am international student in australia, student visa , i have health insurance , will i have to pay in hospital if i go for my medical checkup at some hospital in melbourne.

Sometimes when you have health insurance you have a co-pay which means you pay at the hospital Then after you meet you co-pay limit you don't have to pay a co-pay anymore Then the insuranse copany pays from then on This goes on every year it starts over

It will depend on your insurance. So require a co-pay which will be needed the same day, others have deductibles, that you will be billed for.

I would think you would pay the co-pay, other than that, the insurance should cover you.

yes just not as much as u would if u didnt have insurance
