why do I feel a weird sensation in a private area when I touch it? Is there something wrong with me?

it only had a function when you were a fetus. It was your umbilical cord that carried nutrients from your mother to you...when you are born you no longer need the cord and it is cut off...and now you have a belly button.....

It has no function..it is the scar that was left when your umbilical cord dried up after tie off.
