not necessarily a bad heart, you probably just aren't aclimated to the altitude.

Although if you literally couldn't breathe or stand up, then you should be checked out.

Don't know if it's your heart, but that's definitely not normal. I've been well over 13,000 feet and had no trouble breathing at all. I used to live about 5k up in a valley so I've never had any trouble with it. Ask a doctor.

most likely altitude sickness, the air gets thinner the higher up you go, it will take some time for your body to acclimate itself.

It could be many things; do you smoke or have asthma or any other resipiratory condition?
