Both my elderly parents needed Hospital treatment recently. Our local Hospital was magnificent. The staff were caring, helpful and being local some of them knew my parents. How comforting is that when you are elderly, ill and probably scared. Guess what? our hospital is facing closure, the chief executive-salary in excess of £50,000 a year- said " we need to save money" i suggested an immediate saving of £50,000 a year, which for some reason did not meet with his approval. My point is the people at the business end are usually dedicated, hardworkoing and underpaid while nobody would miss the executive overpaid waste of space jobsworths if they all f***ked off tomorrow.

I nearly died 2 years ago only for a young doctor checking something that nobody else thought of so I got correct treatment am am here due to the care of the nurses who are angels thank God. Now though since we have a new hospital it is not good even most of the nurses don't like it, it is new it's nice only that is all, it is all down to finances not like when it was the old hospital. The friendly atmosphere has gone. Nurses are angels as my mother Say's nurses are not made they are born, sadly to say we are going to loose them as they have and will look for jobs in other countries.

After I had had my daughter by c-section and was really sore before I went home a really handsome young doctor came round to check me over and he was asking general after birth questions one of which was "and how about sex" which I reluctantly replied "Oh No Not at the moment thanks"
