What do you think of the US health service today?

I'm currently on S.S. Disability. I lost my Medicaid benefits for my son and myself because I make too much money. I'm making $939 a month, most of which goes to bills. My son has no medical insurance and he was receiving care for ADHD. I had to stop his medication and all counseling services for him, but now, I'm paying for his meds. I applied for FloridaKidCare insurance and they said he qualifies for Medicaid, I contact Medicaid and they said because of the 3% increase at the beginning of the year for social security people, I went over the top in regards to my income and that's why I don't receive Medicaid anymore. We get "medically needy" Medicaid, which I have to pay a deductible of $879 in medical bills per month in order for Medicaid to help me. I lost my child support and am re-applying for Medicaid due to my change in income. The senior citizens and the children are my main concern and they are the most vulnerable. Our health system sucks. There is no emergency care either for people without insurance. I tried that too. You have to wait for weeks or months to even get a response. I waited two months after I applied for my son just to have them tell me he didn't qualify. It's BS.

I truly feel that the health care that one receives in America today is very poor. It is difficult to find a descent doctor. They are all pressured and have little time to care or listen. I am going through some major health issues and am finding that it is more and more difficult to find a good doctor who really will listen and understand what you are going through.
It is a crisis I think! Look at the care (or lack of) given to our vets! SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
