I don't believe so, but I've broken my left arm 5 different times since I was seven (I'm only 15). It's never broken in the same spot twice, but my breaks just keep getting closer to the growth plate. I was a fracture of an inch off this last time.
Since you are not using whatever it is you break, it is very weak when you use it again. I broke my arm ice skating and as soon as I got my cast off I broke it again because it was still very weak and was in a cast past my elbow for a long time.
Lots of Milk will help get the strength back!! Happy healings!

your bones are amazing body parts. They will heal themselves and can become stronger than they once were but only if they heal straight. If you are in a cast, make sure you keep it on long enough and then be careful after removing it for a few weeks. If a straight bone heals straight it will be stronger but if broken a second time or more it will become weaker. During it's time of healing, drink more milk, eat yogurt, ice cream, cottage cheese, cheeses, take calcium supplements, and iron supplements. This will help. And more water. Good luck!

No by no means. You have not mentioned your age & sex. If a female with menupause than take calcium regularly if not than yes it can break on even weak stress on fibula. In general the answer is no but say a person suffering from osteoporosis will have to take no risk.

I'm beginning to think it does stay tender as I sprained my ankle last summer and the sprain healed but my ankle kept hurting at times and I had it ex-rayed and there was a bone broken in my ankle and it is tender off an on most of the time.

No, that is completely untrue.
Once you break a bone it regrows and restrengthens even stronger than before.
I've broken two fingers and fractured my shin. They're both strong as can be.
