i'm paranoid all the time to the point i think people can read my mind. i always shake off these thoughts but more and more they are starting to sound well right it's not like there are voices in my head i just start thinking about stuff and get scared. i'm convinced people know stuff about me just by looking at me and i mostly think that everyone is just being nice to me and i don't trust anyone not even my mom and dad, and sometimes i find myself so overwhelmed inside my head that my head hurts. my thoughts just race around and around with no beginning or end. does a person just go insain or does it happen over a period of time? and if i need help how do i trust someone enough to get help? my heart feels as if it going to explode just typeing this. and i already thinks it's a bad idea i realy don't want to be one of the people out there with aluimum foil hats to keep out the "spys'

My son was diagnosed with it 1 1/2 yrs ago.(he's 11) He went in for a mental evaluation,he passed up the Doctor on every question. For instance"what's 12-5" he said"you can't take 12 from 5 cause you'd be heading into integers, but 5 from 12 is 7" or mentally moving faster than the doc. Is this another indicator for hyperactivity?or is he advanced?

Angry about many things really - the traffic, people, etc. There is absolutely no point though to think about it now, but it is difficult not to. Sometimes the anger appeared again subconsciously. Any help on this?

I only have them for a short moment, but I don't take drugs and I am completely sober when I have them. Most of the time I see things differently than they actually are (i.e.: a cable that looks like its squirming). I don't know if this its abnormal or not, sicne they only appear shortly, then they're gone immediately.

What are good supplements to increase energy without increasing blood pressure? My doctor told me that Ginko Biloba is a good supplement. Are there any others that work well without increasing blood pressure, especially for seasonal affective disorder?

She won't answer questions (as if no one is talking to her).
She seems confused and very afraid.
She's lost interest in things she enjoyed before.

She's lost her balance a lot lately, and fallen.

Yesterday she was admited to the hospital, and the doctors were not able to find anything "wrong" with her.

Would all neulogical disorders show up in a CT scan? What about a possibility of a stroke?

I'm just a kid but lately I've been having some seriously demented thoughts of suicide, sometimes I feel a sudden feeling of lonelyness and isolation I don't want to play football anymore and I Don't even think about dating anymore. I also get serious headaches and lack of energy. What could this be?

I went to my office last week and informed them I needed to goto part-time starting Monday. Monday night I had my first sleep study found out that in the 8 hr. study I woke up 60 times every hour. I went into work, and worked half a day. Tuesday night was my second study. I have not received the outcome as of yet. I get a work excuse from my Dr. I call my office and find out cause I went to part time I no longer have a job.

Two things here:

1st - I went part time for some personal problems and medical problems.
2nd - This messed them up from going out of town anytime they wanted to. Now they have to find a full time person so they can start traveling.

Do I have any grounds to stand on under ADA or anything??? I do not fill that I should have lost my job over all this.

THANKS,
Richard

I was prescribed 50mg of Trazodone last night by my Dr for insomnia. It took me 4 hours to fall asleep. I have been researching online and it clearly says it causes insomnia. Has anyone been prescribed this? When will it start working? I also woke up with a really bad pain in my stomach, that eventually went away but it was extremely painful.

I believe I have OCD. In fact, I'm 99% sure I have it, but I don't know how I can get diagnosed. Do I just go see a regular doctor? Should I consult a specialist? Help, what do I do?
