She won't answer questions (as if no one is talking to her).
She seems confused and very afraid.
She's lost interest in things she enjoyed before.

She's lost her balance a lot lately, and fallen.

Yesterday she was admited to the hospital, and the doctors were not able to find anything "wrong" with her.

Would all neulogical disorders show up in a CT scan? What about a possibility of a stroke?

My sister just called to say the doctor finally said that it was a major stroke....it doesn't look good.

Definitely sounds like a stroke, they can do weird things to people. My grandmother had several mini-strokes and her whole personality changed - she even decided that her mother (my great-grandmother) wasn't really her mother after all, that she had been adopted and didn't want to have anything to do with the family since we weren't her "real " family...sad.

has she changed med lately ???? sometimes this will cause it but so would a stroke you really need to get a scan and yes a scan will show any disorders like if part of the Brain is not working correctly

Yes she may have had a stroke...she NEEDS TO SEE A NEUROLOGIST AND have a brain scan done immediately.
