I want to stop asking questions to people on the internet while at work because some questions I am asking are way too personal. Should I only ask questions to the people on the internet only during my free time like on the weekends. I may not be perfect like you ladies and gentlemen. Especially when I am at home asking about what 's going to happen in England in a bad way cause they think I am a bad person.

I'm 31 and have always been quiet. I find it difficult to sustain a conversation and am uncomfortable around new people. A girl has just split with me after a couple of dates and I think this was one of the main factors. I've also just started a new job and am finding it difficult to relax and chat with new colleagues, and feel like they think I'm a weirdo. Even my friends seem to tolerate my company.
At the moment I also seem to wake up early often and just generally don't feel enthusiastic. Can anyone help me? I'd rather not go down the road of medication.

I have friend who had several but I do not understand why and how! Alot of people, including myself, have provided support and he's getting better. But I have limited knowledge on this subject. So, what is a nervous breakdown...but, more importantly, how do people get nervous breakdowns. Why is that? This is what I am seeking for an answer - in plain English please! Not complex terms and explanations - thank you (personal examples are optional!)!

Is it possible to have "mild" bipolar disorder or have the disorder with some of the symptoms and not others? My husband sometimes has some of the symptoms of mania (irritability, anger, volatility, talkative, overspending money, compulsion with sex) and some of depression (moodiness, negativity, sleeping a lot). Sometimes he has them all at the same time or quickly goes back and forth. I alway know when he is super sweet and happy that the fall is about to come. How do you know if someone is bipolar or just very "moody" or volatile? Most of the time he is very sweet and friendly, but he can change his mood in an instant and say and do things he later regrets. He says he's just an @$$ - he would rather believe he is a mean or bad person than that he has a mental illness.

How many people enjoy there own company more than others. Being around alot of people, feels draining to me. I rathere curl up in a chair and read a good book. Or go to the moives byself then you don't have to worry about someone holding you back. I do enjoy talking with people here and there. But I don't see it as A big part of my life. I do plan on find a spouse one day but not really looking now. I'm not very emotional, I more cold and direct. I aslo very caustious, and careful. Do I seem normal or okay?

Ok i was reading about OCD, and i was wondering if these are signs:

i constantly have to make sure the doors are locked
i always feel theres someone following me so i have to turn and look all the time.
i saw on wikipedia that hoarding is a sign. i do that too.
and i also saw compulsive skin picking, and it says scalp too, and that they often creat something to pick like scabs. and i do that.
i also have to watch south park over and over and even if i dont like the episode i find myself watching it yet again.

is this really signs of OCD? If it is how can i convince my parents to take me to a doctor? they never listen to me!

I was getting treatment for my borderline personality disorder at my old doctor's surgery, but now we've moved and my old records haven't arrived, and I really need to start having therapy again, also need to have my meds reviewed, but my new doctor just doesn't understand. I tell him I'm self harming again, but he doesn't seem to grasp just how messed up I'm feeling.
