I'm a 33 year old out of work female singer who happens to have Social Anxiety/Panic Disorder/Depression. I have been unmedicated and without therapy for almost 4 years now due to having no medical insurance offered to me in the music business. Now, my symptoms have worsened and I have nothing left. I quit my job as a road musician and moved in with my boyfriend of one year. Since then I have been unemployed, severly depressed, physically ill, and suffering from extreme panic attacks. How does someone like me go about getting help. I'm a new resident to the state of Georgia and do not have a penny to my name. My boyfriend, who I live with here does not support me in my depression and anxiety. He believes that I am just lazy....that really hurts the most. I do have good transportation but no idea how to gain the courage to leave the house and attempt talking to people. I become very afraid and even become physically ill upon approaching strangers. I am lost. Please help

I've become obsessed with dying. I am not sick, that I know of but the thought of dying is crippling me and I cannot stop obsessing about it.

Has anyone else had this and if so, how were you able to get over it? I really need your help, serious answers only please.

Hey guys. I'm prescribed to taking 50 mg of Zoloft every 24 hours in the morning. I usually took at at 7:00 am every day. The thing is, I missed the time to take it and took it asap at 1:00 pm. But now I want to go back to taking it at 7:00 am. If I took a pill at 1:00 pm today, is it okay if I take it when I wake up at 7:00 am tomorrow? It would be 18 hours instead of 24. Thank you in advance!

does it backfire, and do you find that people begin to undermine your opinion or alleged experiences - stating that you are just thinking wrong and they 'didn't really happen that way?

In other words, now that they understand you are ill,' have you completely lost any hope of 'credibility' with people? Has this ever happend to you, because of stigma, misundertandings, etc?

Is it possible that by labling a child one of the three that it makes it easier for the child to release responcibility for their actions... and by drugging the child.... further complicates the situation because the child is told that they cannot "fix" themselves without the aid of drugs.... hmmmmmmm....

I know this sounds corny, but I'm crying right now. All of my life, I've had depression and low self esteem, and I found this amazing band who knew exactly what I went through. My Chemical Romance. All of our lives, we wait for someone who understands us, someone who helps us get through things, well My Chemical Romance does that. Well, I know I'll never be more than a fan, but still, I've never been to a concert. I have always been sooo close, but because I'm 13, my parents won't let me. Well, I feel like they're so close. The only thing is that I can't reach them. God!!!! I have problems. haha Before you comment, pretend to understand what I'm feeling. It's like, you know how to fix your problem, but no one believes you or is letting you. God, I hate myself.

To be more specific, I'm talking about when parents divorce and one teaches the kid that the other parent doesn't love them or that if they talk w/the other parent they will take him away, things of that sort.
