People like to make lots of generalizations, but the thing you must always remember, no matter who you are talking about is that people are all individuals and are all different. People with Down syndrome have a wise range of personalities and preferences just like anyone else. Do they have sexual urges and needs, of course, they are humans, but no more than any other group.

You should research down syndrome if a person affected with this disorder is in your life. There are endless sites available. I would "guess" that a person with down syndrome might start feeling signs of arousement at a later age but feel these things non the less. They might get confused on when these feelings are appropriate or what they are feeling. I think the wording of your question is a little harsh though i'm sorry. People with down syndrome are a lot of fun and they really help people remember the simple things in life because their thinking is a little more simpler. Please do some reading or maybe get involved with people in your community.

they are human beings the same as anyone else with the same body functions. i worked with downs syndromes for 12 years and i didn't notice them being "horny" as you call it, any more than a normal person. besides that, most of them are childlike and don't even know what to do with these feelings.

Down syndrome is a form of mental retardation, or impaired learning ability. Anyway, this folks that have this is attributed to genetics, a hereditary mutant gene. As for as there sexually activity, it's my understanding they do have a sex drive, however as for being aroused all the time. Have not heard, nor read anything of this nature before. Thanks
