It's Yahoo!'s policy to delete all questions about suicide or any form of self-harm. I don't agree with this policy, but it's not my call. They've given a bunch of reasons for this policy. They claim that it's to protect the user for abusive replies, to protect other vulnerable users from reading it and getting ideas, and, the one that they never mentioned, to protect themselves from getting sued by the family of someone who got instructions on how to kill themselves from someone else on Yahoo!. Of course, they don't acknowledge that they're deleting all the helpful replies along with the abusive ones, that a violation notice is a harsh blow to a vulnerable individual, or that anyone who is going to kill themselves already knows how. If you ask me, they're not protecting anyone but themselves. But they didn't ask me, and their policy is to delete all questions about suicide.
Along with the violation notice, you should have gotten an email listing national helplines and encouraging you to call one (if you didn't get that email, please let me or a member of the Answers Team know). Please, call one of those numbers, or one of the ones listed on the front inside cover of your phonebook. By asking questions about it here on Answers, you're clearly asking for help, and asking to talk about it. By calling one of those numbers, you can talk about what you're feeling with someone who is trained to deal with those kinds of issues, and who isn't going to send you a violation notice, or any other indication that what you're feeling is weird or inappropriate.
Finally, it's not you that's weird, it's Yahoo!. Suicide is a serious issue, and one that we should be able to discuss. But Yahoo!'s too worried about getting sued. That's not any reflection on you, and you shouldn't take it personally.

I believe that being a little suicidal is normal....
not weird...
I think that most thoughtful people occasionally consider how hard life can be and "sleeping forever" woudl be easier...
an "out"...
but realistically the world needs thoughtful peeple. sensitive people... people that want to go out and make a difference... volnuteer with children... work in africa...
I believ that if more suicidal people would believ that they are needed here on the earth to help heal others and help fix what is wrong... then they woudl have purpose...
and a reason to stay...
I too have wanted to permanently leave... but the thought that someone might need me and I wasnt there for them... i felt guilt...
and here I am... then i had kids... and now I am here for the long haul.... :)
everyone is needed... you just have to find out where and for who...

Yo, I got a better idea. Hold off on it. Pack some stuff and head out, see the world as far as you can go. I'm betting there is something out there for you, you just have to find it. I met a guy one time, same situation, cept he joined up with a traveling carnival and they trucked him around the country. So, I'm guessing you could do the same thing with everything, but I would choose something like a cargo ship, get to see some other countries you know.

They shouldn't of deleted your question for one thing. Thinking of committing suicide is a very serious and unfortunately common. You are not weird you are human and you're probably in a phase were you are trying to figure yourself out, trying to figure what life's all about. Just take it a day at a time. Don't stress. You're here for a reason don't let negative thoughts crowd your mind.
Take care. Treat yourself good.
