It could be a sign of Bipolar disorder of obsessive compulsive disorder. With OCD the compulsion is so great that you will do a lot of senseless things like spend money that you can't afford to spend. I know, I have it and it sucks. I am on disibility and find myself spending more money that I have all of the time then when it comes time to pay the bills I don't have the money. You should see a psychiatrist to see if he can diagnose you to see if you have a mental disorder.

It can be caused by mental illness...and some people really can't control the urge to spend foolishly...it is a typical symptom of Manic depressive people in their manic stage..(or bipolar if you will)...but some people like to spend, and that is the way it is....just like being too stingy can also signal something wrong..

Wether it's spending money you don't or
do have yes,if it's irrational spending then
we can say there is something not right
and that is why some people have conservators
who have total control over the spending permitted.

IT could be an addiction. What do you spend it on?Stuff you need or not.
But i think addictions fall under mental or emotional illnesses.

I don't understand the question. Is it hard for you to spend money or too easy?
