At first, I did not like the show. After a while it grew on me because the show made us aware of someone's Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, which I have. It looked like the show was making fun of O.C.D. I realized otherwise. Yes, I do find Monk's behavior funny alot. I just wonder if Monk ever used medication(s) for his illness? I take several medications and quite frankly, I am alot better now than I was almost one year ago!

I have been to doctors on various symptoms but they can't seem to figure out what is wrong. I feel awful. I am always worried that I have cancer or some terminal illness. I was just wondering if I had either of those how would I know to have it checked out if I have such bad anxiety. I can't run to the doctor for every little thing. I have heard stories about if you are "dying" you look awful and you get really thin and pale. Is that true?

Most gays support the far left and its marxist agenda to deconstruct american culture, in the hopes that, by weakening marriage, they will somehow gain more advantage for themselves in our society. Since that is inappropriate, most conservatives oppose them (as well we should).

However, I wonder if many gays know what liberals really think of them and what their goals are outside using them to try and destroy our democracy. Marxist writings are flagrantly racist, sexist and anti-gay. Here we have a perfect example....the ACLU working hard to support a vicious anti-gay hate group, that wants to spread its "God hates FAGS" message in the most inappropriate manner, at military funerals (these people are nuts). Why would they do this? It doesn't make much sense until you find out that this group is a far left group (most hate groups are). The ACLU shares their attitude toward gays as do most liberals.

I am truly sorry if this causes offence ( and I know it will) but I am absolutley petrified of people with dwarfism ( sorry if this is the wrong way to describe the condition) as a very young child I was kind of mentally tortured by a person born with this condition, he was a friend of my dads, he would often scare me by hiding in small places like under my bed, in my wardrobe and leap out and terrify me (im serious) he also told me he was evil and would eat me if I told anyone. I am not winding you up or joking, I know it was a long time ago and I am an adult now but I have never been able to shake this fear of these people, I hate it and i know it offends people but I just can't help it!! I am training to be a teacher and will undoubtedly come in to contact with these people sooner or later (children, parents) and I want to get over this ridiculous fear. sorry again for the offence caused I know it sounds unbelievable but hey dont know how else to put it. help???

I was raped by my ex after breaking up with him and it took over year to get him out of my life. This guy stalked me, my family and friends. He somehow figured out my number even when I had it changed. This all devastated me very much.He was my first bf and the first guy I loved until the above happened...

Since we broke up I have nightmares that hes following me or knows where I stay, or somehow figures out my number and calls me-even today.

I have a new bf now and weve been dating for a year now but its not going too well b/c I am so afraid of being hurt again...and of..everything.. I see my ex in my new bf all the time.. whether its something he says that the ex once said, a certain way he touches me.. I freak out and think hes going to hurt me...

pretty much I see my bf as my ex...

Weve had tallks about our connection and while we care about each other Im afraid me always thinking of my ex isnt good for us...

We tried counseling, etc. I have probs I know, what should we/I do?

At least 2-3 times a week, I have these odd dreams where I am confronted by girls that seem to start fights with me. In my dream, I am scared at first, but then I get angry and start beating them up. Mostly punching them in the head. My hand even starts hurting in the dream, but I just continue to punch her. Why do you think this is? IS there something I can do to stop dreaming of punching girls in the head???

I've been dating this guy for 3 months and he has recently been feeling depressed. His Dr. is starting him on Paxil.
He also told me that he "needs time" - to be happy with himself first.
Do you think this is true?what the Dr. recommended?
Or maybe just a "goodbye"?
What should I know about Paxil?

In the last six months I have had alot of life changes. In February my fiance and I broke up. We had been together for 4 years. In retrospect I realize now we were not meant to be together. Over the last several years I have accumulated debt. I am 27 and make $35,000 and owe $10,000 Due to the fact I live in New York City, where the cost of living is extremely high I had to move back home with my parents. This has put me in a rut where I feel like a loser. I feel like I have dug myself in a hole that I am never going to get out. I look at my friends who have better paying jobs and no debt and I get upset. I feel like a loser. Most people my age are getting married and buying houses and I am living at home trying to pay off this debt. I feel like I may never meet anyone because of my situation. How do I stay positive? Hopefully in the next year or two I can pay off the bulf of the debt and get my own place. In September I am going to get a second job to help with this.

Do you have sheer panic attacks when you go to your doctor? When I go to the doctor I panic so bad for some reason, they check my blood pressure and it gets real high, and then goes back down when I get home. Anyone else ever experience this? or am I the only one?

If anyone else has had this problem let me know. and if anyone needs a friend to help each other out through there hard times feel free to communicate by email, maybe it will do us all some good,

About a year ago I collapsed at work, was taken to the hospital, felt awful. They did loads of tests and couldn't find anything. I was diagnosed as having a panic attack. Since then I have reoccuring symptoms when I am in the subway etc. What is a good way to cope with it and cure it?
