Taylor,

I don't know how old you are, but I am having the very same feelings. I really must agree with everybody else saying you should try to get professional help. I know that is easier said then done. But you really do need to give it a try. Even though we don't know each other, I would like to make a deal with you. I would like you to promise me that you will not do something drastic that you may regret. I know you say you see no point to life right now... I know how you feel, I have been there, who am I kidding, I am there right now. But ending your life will not help anything. You may not realize it, but people really do care about you. Even if they don't show it all the time, they really care about you. Sometimes you don't even know the people care for you, but I assure you they are out there. I wish I could sit down in a room with you and your mom and help explain to her that depression is real, and depression is at times debilitating. It does not mean that you are a bad person having depression, but you do need help. You need a support systrem to get you through this time in your life. It can be done alone, but it is a lot more easy to have a sholder to cry on every once and a while. While we are talking about crying, there is nothing wrong with crying. It is a great release of emotions. I am a man, and I am not ashamed to admit I cry. Just before I got on line today I saw the comercial for the new World Trade Center movie, and I shed a tear after watching it. Crying is normal, it is when you no longer cry at sad events when you have a problem.

I know I am rambling a bit, but I just want to help. I want you to find out that life really is worth living, and this depression will not last forever. You are the only person that can truely fix your depression. You may just need a helping hand to find your way to being happy again. If you ever feel really depressed, you can always email me, I would be happy to listen to what is troubling you, and who knows, perhaps it will be something I have already experienced, and I can give you some friendly input. I wish you the best in overcoming this "Small" bump in the road of your life. I know you can beat this! I will say a prayer for you. I hope you feel better soon

Yes, sweetie, sounds like depression. Maybe you should see doctor. Maybe its your hormones or something or chemical imbalance. I use to be depressed. Didn't want to live. Felt as though there was always a dark cloud over my head. One day, I was watching a spiritual show...healing. And I thought, If I asked God to cure me of something, it would be depression. I confessed it out loud. Don't you know that from that day on, the dark cloud was gone. My depression was healed. I've never felt depressed like that again. A miracle, huh?

So many people suffer depression and don't seek help.
It only gets worse. It took me 30 years to get the nerve to see a psychologist. And it saved my life!
Please, just go for help. I know it's hard. Take an understanding friend with you to help you get thru the door so you don't back out.
There's nothing to be ashamed of and you will be sooooooo glad you did it!

No. This is not depression. This is just some kind of frustration because of a temperory failure. It will soon pass. Nothing to worry about.
Good luck.

Very deep depression. That too much sleeping is the great indicator.

It is depression, and it pains me to think of yourself like that. Stay on the positive side of things. There are people that love you.
