background info: I have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder when I was 20 (I am now 25). I have been on and off depressive and anti psychotic medication since then. A year ago, my doctor changed the diagnosis to bipolar disorder.
I do not usually binge and then purge food. Tonight, I feel depressed because I ate a lot and I was getting a headache, so I induced vomit. I feel sick when I do this, but I can't help it. The last time I did this was 6 months ago. I don't usually purge food out, but when I am really depressed, I don't eat for a day (up to 3 days.. I just drink lots of water). When I have a depressive or manic episode, I either eat a lot (I may or may not vomit) or I don't eat at all... I feel fat, although I know that nobody else will think that I am (I am 5'4" and my weight fluctuates between 115lbs to 120lbs. the heaviest that I ever got was 125lbs). I am trying to conceive and I am so concerned about gaining weight.
What do you think? Please advise.
